For exhilarating high speed fun, two wild, looping, twisty water slides hurtle you to the ultimate splashdown. This exciting area offers fountains, and splashes and sprays for kids of all ages. Jump in to the wave pool and crash into the rolling waves that feel like the ocean. Visitors to Splash House water park can even work on that perfect tan on more than 30,000 feet of deck space. Water slides, lazy river, play pad, sand volleyball area, and a large wave pool make this the place to be for summer sun and family fun.
Marion Splash House lifeguards transport a training dummy simulating a victim with a possible neck injury on a stretcher to an awaiting helicopter as part of a water-rescue training session Friday. Summertime in Indiana isn’t complete without a visit to an Indiana waterpark. Residents of Marion are privy to their very own water park, Splash House. This family-friendly venue is just one hour from Indianapolis and totally worth the drive. You’ve felt it before – the music is just right, your friends are close, and all your cares fade away to the beat.

Find the video on YouTube on the City of Marion, IN channel. It also features many other staff members while showcasing the attractions of the park. Free parking is available in the parking lot right outside of the waterpark.

Splash House, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, melds the best parts of music and pools. Founded in 2013 by siblings Tyler and Kelly McLean, the three-day music festival kicks off two parties this summer on weekends August and August 18-20. Each resort has its own vibe, so guests can find a party and atmosphere that suits their tempo. A shuttle is also available to transport music fans to each of the host hotels so they can experience all the locations.
The Splash House wave pool is the largest one I’ve seen at any public pool, amusement parks notwithstanding. Lifeguards are on duty at this large wave pool, watching for guests who are struggling with the strength of the waves, and children wearing live vests or floaties are not permitted to go deeper than four feet. There are times during the day when the wave pool has “Power Hour” when the waves are stronger and bigger than the rest of the day and there’s more space to body surf. During Power Hour, no one under 48 inches tall is permitted in the wave pool. When the sun goes down, the party shifts from poolside to plane-side with a unique after-hours show at the Palm Springs Air Museum, which has a variety of vintage war aircrafts on display.
